Eldsken rör sig i ett improvisatoriskt landskap med influenser från såväl kontemplativ jazz, pop som svensk folkvisa. Duons andra album, The Hearts Journey, lämnar utrymme för både stillhet och rörelse, eftertanke och starka känslor. På The Hearts Journey ryms egenskrivet material varvat med tonsättningar av diktare som Karin Boye, Vilhelm Ekelund, Emily Dickinson m.fl. Under 2014 hade gruppen ett mycket uppskattat samarbete med poeten/författaren Ylva Eggehorn, vilket också färgat arbetet med The Hearts Journey.
